A Fast Draw tells a story about Orrin, who just realized his skill of using guns really fast. Upon knowing this, Rusty, who took care of him and his brother after the death of Orrin's father, advised him with wise words.There are many bloody scenes here involving gun shooting that I think this book is categorized as a novel for adults. Human's life is cheap as you can find some men killed just in every few pages of this book. Of course I also saw some good values about brevity and friendship in this book.
I like the quote inserted here that a man who lives by his gun will be dead by a gun. A four star is given for this book.

Good plot but the proofreader must have been asleep. Too many errors get in the way of being an enjoyable story.
This was an enjoyable short read and would be great for any fans of the genre. I especially liked Orrin as a main character and found the present tense writing gave it a sense of urgency and immediacy. An enjoyable little western!

Atrocious grammar and editing but an exciting storyline.It is a shame the grammar is so distracting. Decent if you can read past the mistakes.
Reading this, I got the sense that there really is a place as described in the story, with people who I wouldn't mind meeting and having as neighbors. Sometimes, stories just feel too "Hollywood", and that's not a bad thing, but it wouldn't work with this kind of story. Authentic, nice detail, solid story, easy to sympathize with characters. However, let's get an editor in on the action, to avoid phrases like, "The but of his gun..." and "...scraps the side..."
Really an amazing book. Adventurous yet classy. Well written story, nice plot and the characters are being well portrayed. The reader can surely relate to what he/she is portraying. But I guess this is good for adult audiences/readers, because they are scenarios that might not be that good for young or teens. To sum it all, twas a great book of Luis Antwoord, guess he is pretty good in making or writing western readings. Well actually, this is my second book from him. And he never let me down.
